15-year-old José Ángel alternates between good behavior
and well-intended mischief. Since childhood, he has enjoyed
helping the poor and elderly, but also sees how cunning
and deception can create shortcuts to victory. Throughout school,
the demons within tempt him, and a desire to succeed overpowers his good.
He has embraced this duality and leads both Lumin and Doloheart
students to balance their obedient side with their dark impulses,
so they can master both and utilize each when necessary.
